I really liked Robert Browning and I was there 5 years ago in Mrs Schofield's class. I started when I was four, with Mrs Hurst.
The librarian was really good (it was my mum), she always knew just which books the children wanted.
Robert Browning was a great school.
Good luck with Ofsted.

Having just left the previous comment I decided to have a look at earlier comments and was pleased to see how many people loved the School. As I was composing the previous message, I was trying to remember a boy called Wayne or more to the point his second name. Couldn`t quite get it, submitted the comment, read through the list and I then saw the message from Sheridan Lacey and her brother Wayne!!! I am pretty sure it is him. Wayne (or Sheridan) if you read this and you were at the School at the time of the Moon landing (20th of July 1969) please email me.

Rock On, Robert Browning!!!

Regards, Alec

I attended the school from `68 to about 1970 (afaik!!) and I remember it as being a great school. I remember two teachers. Mr Bolan who I think taught English and Miss Mcpherson who married and became Mrs LLewellyn (I was a bit upset as I had a bit of crush on her... I did get over it.. lol!) It is nice to see the school is still going strong. When Man landed on the moon we were allowed to watch it in a building away from the main area called the "Annexe" I have tried to find former pupils on Friends Reunited but to no avail. Paul Newman (no, not him!) Monica and Petra Sullivan, Paul Kent and Teresa Cook are names I recall. If anyone reads this and remembers these people, please email me. Thank you for allowing me to ramble!!

Wow, this brings back so so many good memories!
I was only there for about 18 months in 1998 but I loved every single second of it. I miss Sennelager and Paderborn so so so much; I'll have to come back soon and visit it all again.
Miss all my old teachers a lot, especially Mrs. Pugh (if anyone remembers her) and Mr. Liptrot.
Miss you all. Make sure you stay the best school there ever was (better than them snooty William Wordsworth schoolers over the road).

I was there between 1985-1987 roughly. My teachers were Mrs Walker and then Mrs Buchanan. The head was Mr Morgan. I enjoyed looking at all the photos as it brought back some great memories. If anyone remembers me, feel free to contact me.

Hello you lot, Hope you miss me as much as I miss you all. What can I say about UK? rain, cold, very expensive can't get much of a job at moment but at least I work in Homebase and can get my discount off! Bry has a job too within walking distance and Jessica has a job in the Metrocentre!!! James loves his new school they treat him a little more grown up which is refreshing. We've all been to a couple of Newcastle friendlies which were great that at least is a bounus! We are off to London next week for Bryans appointment at Australia House so wish us luck! Take Care all my Love to you all Sam xxxxx ;)

As a student of this school some 22 years ago I am so pleased to see that it is still going strong. I wa in Mr Smiths class and still have the school photo taken on 29th of April 1986. The head teacher at the time was Mr Morgans. Some of the pictures on the site brought back great memories, such as a roman banquet we had in the hall, and easter competitions where we put painted eggs on a table in the corridor. If anyone from that time comes on here please email me asap. I would really like to hear from you.
